Buffalo man charged with his fourth case of drunken driving

LOCKPORT – A Buffalo man will face felony charges after he was stopped Saturday for failure to keep right on South Transit Road and found to be driving while intoxicated.

Henry T. Brown, 29, of Pooley Place, had no driver’s license and no registration when he was stopped by Niagara County sheriff’s deputies just after 4 a.m. Saturday.

Deputies said he appeared to be intoxicated and admitted that he had three prior DWI convictions.

His license was shown to be revoked with six previous court appearances.

He also appeared to have been the designated driver as three other passengers were in the vehicle with him. All three of his passengers were allowed to leave and call for rides.

Brown was given a ride in a patrol car and held in Niagara County Jail on $750 bail for felony charges of DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation.
