Warsaw woman arrested for trying to sneak marijuana to inmate

WARSAW – A 33-year-old Warsaw woman was arrested Sunday for allegedly trying to sneak marijuana cigarettes to an inmate at the Wyoming County Jail. Danielle M. Sundown of Livingston Street was stopped by correction officers as she was about to enter the inmate visitation area at the jail. After allegedly quickly swallowing what the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office described as two marijuana joints she allegedly admitted under questioning that she was trying to get them to an inmate during that visit. Sundown was charged with second-degree attempted promoting prison contraband. She was ordered to appear March 7 in Warsaw Village Court.
