FOOTBALL: Alfred University defensive coordinator Lazarus Morgan will be the featured clinician for The Western New York Football Coaches Association meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Monday at the Elks Lodge, 33 Legion Pkwy., Lancaster. ICE HOCKEY: The Paul Grundtisch Easter Break Power Skating and Skills School will be held at Leisure Rinks in Orchard Park for four sessions from Mar. 21-24. There are openings for skaters ages 6-9 (10-11:30 a.m.) and ages 9-13 (12:15-1:45 p.m.). Each day the clinic will include one hour of intense instruction. A 30-minute scrimmage with lines set up by age and ability will conclude each day. This program is not for beginners. Cost is $130.00 for all five sessions. For more details call the rink at 685-3660 or 675-8992 or register online at … Buffalo Hornets Hockey LLC will conduct a three-session skills and conditioning clinic for those high level hockey athletes in the 1997-2001 birth years. The sessions will be run by current University at Buffalo ACHA D3 head coach James Doersam. The sessions are March 16, 23 and 30 at Holiday Twin Rinks from 5:15-7:15 p.m. The first hour will be dedicated to skill development and the second hour will be a game. This program will be limited to six goaltenders, 12 defense and 24 forwards. Cost will be $50 for the three sessions or $25 per session walk on.
