Navient awarded Jennifer Covert the Solutions Navigator Award for job excellence. The award is presented quarterly to one Navient employee who exhibits a willingness to help others, above and beyond normal duties. Covert, who joined Pioneer Credit Recovery, a subsidiary of Navient, in 2005, is a manager at the company’s facility in Perry.
Nussbaumer & Clarke, one of the region’s oldest engineering and land surveying firms, has realigned its top executives and transferred ownership. The firm, which has been owned by Michael J. Sendor and Michael F. Smith for over 15 years, began in 1933 when Newell Nussbaumer and Irving Clarke founded the firm. Sendor has stepped down as president and Smith will assume those duties. He is joined by new owners Michael J. Borowiak and Michael T. Marino. The firm operates five offices in Western New York and has 80 employees.
The Richard J. Wehle School of Business at Canisius College has maintained its business accreditation by AACSB International. The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business is the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools that offer undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees in business and accounting.
