DWI arrest also results in drug charges for driver, passenger

LEWISTON – Two Lewiston men are facing drug charges after their vehicle was pulled over during a drunken-driving stop Friday on Creek Road.

Patrick M. Stevens, 23, and James C. Lauzau Jr., 25, were charged each with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana, State Police said

Stevens, who was driving erratically west on Creek, police said, was charged with driving while intoxicated and refusal to take a breath test, moving between lanes unsafely and operating a vehicle without insurance.

Both suspects face a March 16 appearance in Lewiston Town Court.
