If your kids love Elmo, Cookie Monster and all of the other fuzzy monsters on Sesame Street - and - if they just can’t sit still for very long – “Let’s Dance” may be perfect for them. That’s because the show - visiting Shea's Performing Arts Center from Feb. 24 to 28 - encourages kids to get up and stay up. “Sesame Street Live” is always a big hit with kiddos, and this show is sure to be a real dance party.
For “Let’s Dance,, there’s no need to have your preschoolers stay in their seat, not when they’re actually invited to get up and move and groove to a host of favorite songs. They can sing along and interact with their favorite characters up on stag, and in the aisles.
The shows always feature timeless songs, that iconic “Sesame Street” backdrop on stage, and all of the lovable characters. The life-lessons and fun are there, too. The show is sure to please the youngsters and the young at heart, as well. One thing to keep in mind - the show is 90 minutes long with one intermission. That generally means a big merchandising push for everything from toys, to shirts and balloons. So, you can get your wallet ready or maybe have a little chat with your kids about economics, ahead of time.
