NIAGARA FALLS – Niagara Falls’ own Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Christina Custode will be featured at the next Pints 4 Progress event at 6 p.m. April 7 in the first floor gallery of the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center, 1201 Pine Ave.
Although she didn’t leave with an award, Custode had been nominated in five categories, including best new artist of the year.
She calls her nominated song, “Fire,” “an anthem of perseverance.”
It is an apt theme for the monthly event, which focuses on community improvement projects in a fun atmosphere of food, drink and local music.
Admission is $10 and those who attend will get a chance to vote for and/or present their ideas. Ticket proceeds go to the project with the most votes. Admission is only $5 if this is your first time attending.
The host for the evening is Niagara University’s ReNU Niagara.
