The Town of Grand Island is hosting a presentation with a representative of Emminger, Newton, Pigeon & Magyar Inc. on the island-wide reassessment due to be completed by March 1. The presentation will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the courtroom at Town Hall, 2255 Baseline Road.
• The School Board meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Grand Island High School, 1100 Ransom Road.
• The Town Board has issued a request for proposals for legal services. Deadline for proposals is April 1 and no questions will be answered after March 15. A contract will be awarded to start effective June 1. Proposals should be submitted to Town Board, 2255 Baseline Road, Grand Island, NY 14072.
• The 90 West Band plays for Country Night in the Winter Concert Series Saturday evening in Ellden’s at River Oaks, 201 Whitehaven Road. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $10. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Wellness Institute of Greater Buffalo.
• The Cooking for Cancer Club, organized by 13-year-olds Allyson Nemeth and Jessica Flash of St. Stephen’s Church, holds their third annual Pasta Sauce-Off from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday in the LaSalle Yacht Club, 73 S. 68th St., Niagara Falls.
