NIAGARA FALLS – The Niagara Falls Historic Preservation Society will hold training for volunteer tour guides in March and April in the Niagara Arts & Cultural Center.
Those interested in telling visitors the stories related to the history of downtown Niagara Falls can attend six, four-hour classes on Saturday mornings starting March 5. The sessions will be held in the Niagara Room of the NACC, 1201 Pine Ave., from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The cost of the training is $50 and includes all materials, a one-year membership in the society and light refreshments. Pre-registration is required and interested parties should contact society President Susan Hale Whitmore at (301) 651-7011 or email@example.com.
