President has a duty to fill court vacancy
All of the political hand-wringing over the filling of the seat on the Supreme Court is beyond what should be good and proper. The sitting president was elected by the majority and he has an obligation to make that appointment as soon as possible. Leaving the court as is would be a mistake.
Those who oppose the president doing his job are simply trying to stack the deck. The sooner he appoints someone, and hopefully the Senate will do its job and confirm, the better.
