Snow, wet roads slow the morning commute

Wednesday morning's commute has been slowed by wet roads and a batch of snowfall.

There have been a few reports of vehicles having gone off the road on area highways so far this morning.

In terms of the rest of the day, snow showers will stick around through about noon. After that, the chances of snowfall start diminishing through tonight, though we're supposed to pick up a total of about another inch today, according to the National Weather Service.

Today's temperatures will hover around 30 throughout the day, dipping tonight from the mid 20s into the single digits, forecasters said.

Of course, today's commute is nothing like Tuesday, when we set a snowfall record.
