Junior Achievement of Western New York will be rooting for the goalie at every Buffalo Sabres game for the rest of February. For each save the team makes this month, the Sabres and the First Niagara Foundation will donate $10 to JA under their Sabres Saves Campaign.
Last year, 15,238 students from kindergarten through 12th grade in 165 schools and community organizations throughout the eight Western New York counties learned about financial literacy, entrepreneurship and career and job readiness through the work of nearly 600 Junior Achievement volunteers. For more information about the campaign, call Justine Waldron at 853-1381, ext. 16, or email jwaldron@ jawny.org.
