Lockport man arraigned on aggravated DWI count

LOCKPORT – A Town of Lockport man pleaded not guilty in State Supreme Court Tuesday to an indictment accusing him of having a blood alcohol reading more than 2½ times the legal threshold for intoxication when he was arrested Dec. 26 in Pendleton.

Trevor D. Castle, 25, of Ridge Road, is charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a lane violation and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.

Castle’s test result showed a 0.21 percent blood alcohol reading. He faces a maximum of seven years in prison if convicted as charged.
