Is ticket blitz the best use of Buffalo police officers?
It’s great to see the Buffalo police writing all those speeding tickets instead of wasting time patrolling neighborhoods where shootings seem to occur almost nightly. I do have a suggestion and a question.
The suggestion: If safety is really the issue, why not put one of those big signs warning: “Slow down; strict police enforcement ahead”? The question: If the charge is reduced to a parking ticket, why is it so much more expensive than a real parking ticket? Is this a money grab?
P.S.: No, I didn’t get a ticket.
