Canisius stands in third place in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference’s women’s swimming and diving championships at the Burt Flickinger Center.
The Golden Griffins did particularly well in the women’s 200 freestyle. Rebecca Anthone was second in 1:52.04, and Hannah Graesser was third in 1:53.80.
Marissa Watroba had a good showing for Canisius in the women’s 100 breaststroke, finishing third in 1:05.90. Alex Doody (400 IM) and Cassie Brousseau (100 back) were fifth-place finishers.
The Canisius men were in fifth place after Day 3 of the competition.
Collin Zapisek and Gustavo Dos Santos had strong showings in the 200 freestyle. Tommy Kirch finished eighth in the 100 breaststroke (59:23).
The competition will conclude on Saturday.
