Gently used prom dresses will once again be collected for the seventh annual Prom Dress Drive in the month of March to provide dresses to local high school girls free of charge. The dresses will be cleaned free of charge thanks to a partnership between Urban Valet Dry Cleaners and Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon. They then will be made available to local high school girls who are in need of a gown.
“Many parents, unfortunately, aren’t able to buy the gown of their daughter’s dreams, which is why the Prom Dress Drive is so important,” Dixon stated.
Drop-off locations include Urban Valet sites, certain local libraries and other locations. For a full list of drop-off locations, visit www2.erie.gov/dixon
