Did you miss Totes McGoats? Mascot closes chapter with new video

Totes McGoats, the furry face (chin) of the City of Niagara Falls' initiative to promote recycling, has been featured in an instructional video -- and, sadly, this is the last you'll see of the viral sensation.

The Solid Waste Education and Enforcement Team, shortened to SWEET, unveiled the 13-minute video on Tuesday that elaborates on the Solid Waste Refuse and Recycling Ordinance in Niagara Falls, NY, loaded with appearances by the silent-yet-amiable McGoats, who's said to have made the last of his public appearances.

For the admittedly catchy theme song, fast-forward to 10:00 of the video below. If you're at all curious about recycling, there are many good tips in the clip:

“We will not be held responsible for the Tote McGoats theme song getting stuck in your head,” said Program Coordinator Brook D’Angelo in her announcement of the video release.

According to Time Warner Cable News, Niagara Falls Mayor Paul Dyster said "that there has been a dramatic increase in the city's recycling program since Totes made his debut."

Well, mission accomplished.
