MORAN, Robert F. "Bob"

MORAN - Robert F. "Bob" Lifelong resident of Buffalo, NY, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2016 at the age of 71. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Mary (nee Byrnes) and Jack Moran and his beloved wife of 48 years, Donna Lee (nee Vogelman) Moran. He was the proud and devoted father of Cheryl Jean and Deborah Elizabeth Moran and the loving brother of Gene (Fran) Moran, Marietta Moran, Nancy Moran and Kathy (Tony) LaRocco. He is also survived by many cousins, a niece
and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and was a happy grandfather to numerous cats, dogs and horses. Bob graduated from
Kensington High School, served in
the US Army and was stationed in
Germany, where he and Donna married. He was a founding partner and worked for over 30 years at Harmac Medical Facility in Buffalo, NY, where he was a respected colleague and forged lifelong friendships. With great pride, he helped establish manufacturing facilities internationally, including his ancestors' homeland of Ireland. Bob was known for his keen sense of humor and vibrant personality along with his die hard loyalty to the Sabres and the Bills. In his last years, Bob dedicated himself to volunteering for home bound veterans. A private
Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Charitable donations in Bob's memory may be made to WNY Heroes, Inc.
