She gave private lessons and summer art camps at her home, and obtained her teaching certificate from Buffalo State College.
Ms. Ross was a substitute teacher at several area schools, and worked as the youth education coordinator at Squeaky Wheel Buffalo Media Resources before becoming a part-time art teacher at her alma mater, Nardin, in 2013. She was scheduled to become a full-time teacher last fall.
Survivors include her husband, Bertrand Juillet; son, Rafael; daughter, Anais; mother, Ann, and brother, Adam.
