Harter Secrest & Emery elected Craig S. Wittlin managing partner. Wittlin succeeds Michael R. McEvoy. A native of Williamsville, Wittlin joined the Rochester office of Harter Secrest & Emery in 1992. He is a corporate attorney who counsels clients on a wide range of matters including mergers, acquisitions, securities, and capital markets transactions. Wittlin received his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and earned his JD at Albany Law School.
Lumsden McCormick announced that Dominic Baranyi, Peter DiNunzio, Zacherie Geary, Kelsey Kuppinger, Megan Morris, and Jenna Torella successfully completed the requirements to practice as Certified Public Accountants, fulfilling the license eligibility requirement and passing all four parts of the Uniform Certified Public Accounting exam.
7-Eleven is recruiting qualified men and women from around the country who have served in and been honorably discharged from the U.S. Armed Forces to enlist in the company’s second Operation: Take Command competition. Hagelin Kent, a law firm headquartered in Buffalo and with offices in Rochester, Syracuse and Garden City was renamed Hagelin Spencer. The new name is a combination of the last names of founder Michael T. Hagelin and attorney Sean M. Spencer who is also a longterm shareholder in the firm.
