Spend "an evening" with David Cassidy when the former teen pop star visits the area for a concert at 8 p.m. April 16 in the Riviera Theatre.
As a star on the popular 1970s TV show, "The Partridge Family," Cassidy was the voice of such hit songs as "I Think I Love You," "I Woke Up In Love This Morning" and "I'll Meet You Halfway." His solo career has featured such songs as "Cherish."
Reserved tickets are $35 to $45 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 5. A members pre-sale starts at 10 a.m. Feb. 2. Tickets are available at the Riviera box office, by calling 692-2413 and at World Hollywood Entertainment inside the McKinley Mall. Visit rivieratheatre.org.
If Cassidy's last area show in 2013 at the Seneca Niagara Casino's Bear's Den is any indication of what to expect at the Riviera Theatre performance, be prepared to hear his hits as well as stories of his life in show business. "Cassidy’s many stories were told amid near-constant swooning from the close-up crowd, which he gushingly welcomed at first," wrote News Contributing Reviewer Seamus Gallivan about the show.
