Kriner’s plan must succeed; schools have failed too long
The Jan. 26 front-page News article asked: “Can Cash’s vision for schools succeed?” It has to. It must. There is no other answer possible for this question. The adults in the room have been failing our children for far too long and it has to stop.
This means that everyone involved, the Buffalo Public Schools administration, teachers, building engineers, all of the staff, the unions, the School Board, the parents and the community (whether or not you have children in the schools) have to step up and do whatever needs to be done to place the children first as Superintendent Kriner Cash has done in this plan.
It does not matter if you can get everything you want if it means that the children do not get what they need.
We can’t waste any more time waiting for something to happen. We have to make it happen. Our children and our city deserve nothing less.
