Police close Niagara Falls bar Friday morning

NIAGARA FALLS – Niagara Falls police closed a Main Street bar early Friday morning following a loud music complaint and finding an intoxicated female younger than 21 sitting on a nearby sidewalk.

Police told bar employees to instruct all patrons inside Karma Lounge, 2109 Main St., to exit shortly before 2 a.m., according to a police report.

Two people police encountered outside the bar were under 21, but the bar owner told officers neither had been drinking in his bar.

The bar owner also could not produce the establishment’s state liquor license when requested by officers, the report said.
