LOCKPORT – Second-time felon Jacob A. Harbaugh, 25, of Niagara Avenue, Niagara Falls, was sentenced Friday to 1½ to three years in state prison for his part in a Dec. 9, 2014, burglary at a garage behind a Falls pawn shop.
Harbaugh had pleaded guilty before Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon to attempted third-degree burglary in connection with the break-in behind Niagara Buy & Sell on Third Street.
Awaiting sentencing on the same charge are co-defendants Michael S. Dubuc, 37, of Hyde Park Boulevard, and Franklin D. Mease Jr., 31, of Whitney Avenue.
Harbaugh will stay in the County Jail until at least Feb. 10, when he is to be sentenced by County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III on an unrelated second-degree criminal contempt charge. Harbaugh served four years in prison for a 2008 attempted robbery conviction.
