The Catholic Diocese of Buffalo honored Judi Nolan Powell, vice president of foundation and community relations at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, with the Bishop’s Medal at the 16th annual Catholic Education dinner. Nolan Powell also is a member of the hospital’s board.
Greater Media promoted Heidi Raphael to senior vice president of corporate communication. She is responsible for overseeing the corporate communication and marketing efforts for the company’s 21 radio properties located in Boston, Detroit, Charlotte, Philadelphia and New Jersey. Greater Media also owns a group of weekly newspapers in New Jersey and several communication towers across the United States. The Western New York native began her radio career at WGRF-FM and WHTT-FM in Buffalo. Raphael is a member of the Medaille College board of trustees, vice president of the Buffalo History Museum board of managers, and a member of the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame advisory board.
ABC-Amega was named a strategic partner of the International Trade Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce. ABC-Amega will support the International Trade Administration’s mission of broadening and deepening the U.S. exporter base.
Niagara Falls Urgent Care will open at 6 p.m. on Feb. 1 in a new facility at 3117 Military Road in the Town of Niagara. The opening will be preceded by a grand opening celebration and community open house from 3 to 5 p.m.
People Inc. was awarded a $5,000 grant from the First Niagara Foundation. People Inc. will use the funding to support its Life Quality Coaching Program.
