Buffalo Wing Joint replacing Niagara Falls Honey's

Honey’s restaurant in Niagara Falls will be reopening as Buffalo Wing Joint and Public Urban Bar (P.U.B.).

Buffalo Wing Joint owner Candice Creamer was general manager for the former Honey’s, located at 6560 Niagara Falls Blvd. Former owner Larry Pacifico’s exit from the business gave her the chance she’s been waiting for, she said.

“I’ve always had the goal of running my own restaurant, so when the opportunity arose, I took advantage of it,” Creamer said. The last Honey’s location, at 4300 Maple Road, Amherst, remains open.

The Niagara Falls space that will become Buffalo Wing Joint seats 270, including a patio and banquet space. Creamer is hoping to open it by Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 7.

Her restaurant will be different than Honey’s, Creamer said. The place will still sell chicken wings, but there will be a thorough remodeling of the space. “I’m going for a modern industrial look,” she said. She’ll add eight draft heads for a total of 32, and add signature cocktails.

The new place should still be family-friendly, she said. Planned changes include moving a video game arcade to the front of the main room, so it’s easier for parents to keep an eye on their children. There will also be live entertainment scheduled during the week, like live music and dart and pool leagues, in addition to karaoke, she said.
