Three men were arrested Sunday night, and stolen food and personal belongings were recovered after the gunpoint robbery of a woman making a delivery of restaurant food on Cambridge Street earlier in the evening.
Shaquille Wooley, 20, of Cornwall Avenue; Demetrius Tiggs, 19, of Edison Street, and Devante Wright, 20, of Northumberland Avenue, were arrested about 11 p.m. and the stolen property was recovered at Wright’s house, police said.
All three were charged with felony counts of second-degree criminal use of a firearm, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and endangering the welfare of a child.
The three were charged with the gunpoint theft of food being delivered to a home in the 400 block of Cambridge about 8 p.m. Sunday along with two cell phones, $50 in cash and the wallet, purse and credit cards of the woman making the delivery. The victim’s 9-year-old daughter was in her vehicle at the time, and police said she was terrorized by a semi-automatic handgun being pointed at her mother.
Two loaded handguns and a BB gun were also recovered by police from Wright’s flat, police said.
