NCCC offers full-ride scholarships

SANBORN – Niagara County Community College announced Monday that the NCCC Foundation is offering scholarships for this fall’s semester for incoming and current students.

The Distinguished Student Scholarships provide a full two years of tuition-free education at NCCC. Applications are due by March 4.

Students seeking the full-ride scholarships must demonstrate a superior academic record, community service and a commitment to Niagara County, including an expectation of remaining in the county after graduation.

In addition, other general scholarships are available for current and new NCCC students. The deadline for those is April 15. Applications are available at niagaracc.suny.edu/scholarships.

In 2014-15, the NCCC Foundation awarded scholarships totaling more than $160,000 to some 200 students. Money comes from the annual Scholarship Gala and from donations by businesses and individuals.
