WEHLE WEHLE - Richard E. Passed away peacefully at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Williamsville, New York on Tuesday, January 19 at the age of 74. He is survived by his wife, Bette Davis Wehle of Williamsville, NY; his five children, Elizabeth Bate of Montclair, NJ, Kimberly Brown of Chevy Chase, MD, Christina Bauer of Upper Newton Falls, MA, Michael Wehle of Lynnfield, MA and Colleen James of Montclair, NJ; 12 grandchildren, Jack Bate, Emily Bate, Isabel Brown, Caroline Brown, Chloe Brown, India Brown, Max Bauer, Paul Wehle, Sam Wehle, Zachary Wehle, Harry James and Vivian James; two sisters, Patricia Daley and Lorrie Tignor of Wooster, OH. Richard "Dick" Wehle was born on July 28, 1941 in Buffalo, NY to Richard and Rita Wehle. He graduated from Amherst High School and Fordham University and later attended the Wharton School of Business. He married Betty J. Nelson and started a family in Buffalo, NY where he began his own business, Organizational Development Associates, which provided management-consulting services to other privately held companies. He started and was the first Chairman of the Canisius Entrepreneur Center, dedicated to perpetuating local privately held businesses. A Public Memorial Service is scheduled for January 30, 2016 at 2 PM at the Chapel at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Richard's life.
