Cash stolen from South Buffalo Knights of Columbus

Cash was stolen early Sunday during a burglary at a Knights of Columbus hall in South Buffalo, police said.

A side window of the Knights of Columbus at 261 South Legion Drive was broken sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 7 a.m., South District officers said.

Once inside the building, the burglars ransacked the area where the safes are kept and opened the safes, taking about $100, according to a report. The suspects also pried open four doors upstairs, causing more than $2,000 in damage, the report stated.
