The Village of Lancaster’s Transportation Alternatives Project is currently being designed and is slated for construction in 2016. The limits of work include pedestrian improvements at the intersection of Aurora Street and Benson Drive, intersection of Aurora Street with Pleasant Avenue, Central Avenue between Pleasant Avenue and St. Joseph Street, and Brady Avenue at Central Avenue.

A public informational meeting will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 4 at the Municipal Building at 5423 Broadway, in the upstairs meeting room. The meeting will be an Open House format with exhibits displayed of the proposed project improvements. The public will have the opportunity to peruse the displays and ask questions of the design team and Village representatives. A formal presentation will be given by the design team at 6:45 p.m.

• The School Board meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday in a budget work session at William Street School, 5201 William St.

• The Village Board meets at 7 p.m. Monday in regular session in the Municipal Building, 5423 Broadway.
