Trump beats Clinton, but Cruz is best choice
To the true conservative, Ronald Reagan is the gold standard when measuring up possible GOP presidential candidates. Reagan not only was a savvy politician, but he was well liked because he always conducted himself with respect, dignity and integrity. He was the epitome of acting “presidential.” Rarely, if ever, did he speak to his opponents in an unpleasant manner. A polar opposite of petulant, narcissistic President Obama, if you will.
Donald Trump leads the GOP field, with none of Reagan’s admirable traits, with no filter on his mouth. He spews out the first thought that pops into his coiffed head. This is a new political phenomenon that correlates directly with the general moral decline of society. He is even garnering support from some of the “if it feels good, do it” liberal Democrat crowd.
If it comes down to Trump versus Hillary Clinton, I will hold my nose and vote for Trump. Compared to the sickening record of the Clintons, Trump is still a better alternative.
Hopefully it won’t come down to that and Ted Cruz will win the nomination, and justice will be served and Clinton will be rightfully indicted. My choice is Cruz. I will not go out in the cold and vote for any of the other establishment RINO candidates, who will not fight for what is right.
