The Elmwood Village’s smoothie and juice offerings could expand by April, when Squeeze Juicery’s second location aims to open.
The store will be on the ground floor of a new mixed-use building at 766 Elmwood Ave. “Hopefully by Feb. 1 we’ll have our building permits, and then we’ll hustle to get open by April 1,’ said owner Chris DeLorenzo. “That’s our target date.”
The menu will be nearly identical to Squeeze’s first location, at 5419 Main St., Williamsville, he said. Cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and grab-and-go items like salads, hummus and wraps will be offered seven days a week.
It’ll be counter service, with 10 to 15 seats. “We feel like people like to hang out on Elmwood, so it needs more seating,” DeLorenzo said. “There are other options similar to us on Elmwood, but with the walking traffic in the summer on that block, we feel like we’ll be successful.”
