The Buffalo-Lille Association will host “How Beer Saved Buffalo,” a lecture by Tim Herzog.
Herzog is president of Flying Bison Brewing Co., the first stand-alone brewery to open in the city of Buffalo since Iroquois Brewing folded in 1972.
Herzog will talk about the local brewing industry, which went dry more than 40 years ago, but which is enjoying a resurgence today.
The lecture will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Buffalo State College Butler Library, room 210, 1300 Elmwood Avenue.
