Vince Gravino became the third player from Canisius College to be selected in the Major League Lacrosse Draft. He was taken by the Ohio Machine with the 59th overall pick on Friday afternoon.
Gravino had 55 goals and 24 assists in his career. He started three seasons with the Golden Griffins, and will return for his senior year starting in March.
Gravino joins Adam Jones and Tim Edwards on the list of Canisius players taken by MLL teams. Jones and Edwards also were picked in the National Lacrosse League draft; Edwards was picked by the Buffalo Bandits last fall and is currently on the practice squad.
