WHEATFIELD – A contractor arrived on his work site in the 6300 block of Inducon Drive East on Tuesday and discovered approximately $10,000 worth of materials had been stolen overnight.
The foreman for Superior Contracting told Niagara County sheriff’s deputies that a lock was cut off a storage box and thieves took tools and equipment, as well as the lock.
Stolen were a sawzall, an impact gun set, a hammer drill, two gas–powered compressors, and three nail guns. Also stolen was a generator, valued at $1,500.
The compressors belonged to R&P Oak Hill Development, reported sheriff’s deputies.
