New Niagara Falls Council member sets meeting with community

NIAGARA FALLS – New City Councilman Ezra P. Scott Jr. will hold a meeting with the community to talk about how to work together to create changes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the Niagara Falls Public Library, 1425 Main St.

“A connected city is a protected city,” Scott noted in announcing the meeting.

He said he would like to continue holding meetings on a quarterly or bimonthly basis.

“It’s not about me, but about the people and I want more people engaged. That’s what this is all about,” Scott said.

He added that he wants the conversation to be more than a forum for talking about the issues, but also a call to get people involved.

“It’s not just about the leaders. I want everyone to be working with the same level of passion for the city,” he said.
