LOCKPORT – A City of Lockport man pleaded guilty Wednesday in Niagara County Court to having possessed LSD Feb. 19.
Garrett R. Beverly, 23, of Saxton Street, pleaded guilty to seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and could go to jail for up to a year when he is sentenced April 13 by Judge Sara Sheldon. Originally, Beverly was indicted for allegedly selling the drug twice.
In another Lockport drug case Wednesday before Sheldon, Tina M. Schaner, 44, of Washburn Street, drew three years’ probation for seventh-degree possession. Schaner sold the mental health drug clonazepam Oct. 21, 2014, in Lockport.
