Brown should be outraged by sad decline of East Side
As a child I grew up on the East Side of Buffalo along with my mom, dad and four siblings. Our whole world was there. We attended Mass, went to school and shopped there.
It was tragic to have to move my parents out of our home because of drastically declining property values, not to mention safety issues.
Our home, due to years of neglect, is no longer there. It, like many formerly fine homes, has been torn down.
I cannot tell you how heartbreaking it is for me and my family, neighbors and friends to see this tragedy and to know that the mayor thinks that it’s no big deal.
