List of ‘bad’ foods constantly changes
Oh no! What to eat? Eggs are bad again! Why? Because our gut tells us so.
According to the article printed in The News’ Refresh magazine on Jan. 16, egg yolks, red meat (steak and hamburger) and the ever popular kid favorite, liver, are dangerous to our health.
What to do? Drink! The article says red wine is a protector of this compound called TMAO. Extra-virgin olive oil seems to work against it, too.
So from now on my new diet will consist of red wine and salads – breakfast, lunch and dinner. Until the next study comes along – the one that will inform us we are all consuming too much alcohol, and are a protein-deficient people.
