Hartland man imprisoned for two felonies

LOCKPORT – State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. sent a Hartland man, who had admitted to burglarizing a home and injuring a police officer, to prison for 3 1/2 years Wednesday.

Kloch also imposed five years of post-release supervision on Kenneth A. Edmister, 28, of Pearson Road, who had pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary and attempted second-degree assault.

Edmister broke into a home on Mountain Road in Royalton sometime during the summer of 2014, and on May 27, injured State Police Investigator Thomas E. Gibbons when he tried to escape after his arrest, according to court records.
