Last Year: Bill Haas, playing for the first time in 2015, shot 5-under-par 67 in the final round to claim his sixth PGA Tour victory by one stroke over Charley Hoffman, Brendan Steele, S.J. Park of South Korea, Steve Wheatcroft and Matt Kuchar. Haas, who also won the tournament in 2010, took the lead with a 15-foot eagle putt on the fifth hole of the final round and nursed it the rest of the way. He sank a clutch 5-foot par putt on the 15th hole before making a critical 20-foot birdie putt on the 16th that proved to be the winner. Haas drove to the edge of a bunker on the final hole and had a delicate layup from an awkward lie but salvaged a closing par. Haas’ father, Jay, won the tournament when it was known as the Bob Hope Classic in 1998.

The Spaniard, who has won 21 times on the European Tour, captured the 2014 Greater Gwinnett Championship and tied for eighth in the Senior British Open later that year. O’Meara, who has won twice on the Senior Circuit, closed with a 64 but still finished second for the 15th time on the 50-and-over tour.
