NIAGARA FALLS – A series of car break-ins happened outside the Hyde Park Ice Pavilion on Sunday night, according to Niagara Falls police reports.
Three break-ins occurred between about 6 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. In at least two cases, vehicle windows were smashed and pry marks were found on the vehicle doors, according to the reports.
One vehicle had more than $4,500 in camera equipment stolen, along with $300 in cash and $100 in heart medication. In two of the cases, nothing was taken from inside the vehicles.
The victims said they were inside the pavilion for a couple hours watching hockey games.
