Orchard Park's Homegrown Bistro open with broad breakfast menu

Homegrown Bistro has opened in Orchard Park, offering a wide-ranging menu that goes from pork belly breakfast specials to vegan sandwiches with a heart of tempeh.

The restaurant, 4211 N. Buffalo Road, Orchard Park, was formerly Two Sisters. Monday was the first day of business for owner Kathryn Gordon, a Lackawanna native with extensive hospitality experience opening her first restaurant.

Diners can get their omelets and panini with housemade chicken breakfast sausage, tempeh bacon, or pork belly. The menu spans breakfast and lunch, ranging from $4 to $13.

Since Gordon has celiac disease, she makes most of her menu gluten-free. “It’s all gluten free except some of the bread and the tempeh, actually,” Gordon said.

She’ll be open seven days a week for now, Gordon said. The phone number is 725-3849, and menus are at homegrownop.com.
