GOOD, Helen J. (Glauber)

GOOD - Helen J. (nee Glauber) Age 91, died on Monday, January 4, 2016 of natural causes in Sarasota, FL. She was born in Racine, WI and grew up in Buffalo, NY where she graduated from D'Youville College. Soon after WW II Helen married the love of her life, J. William Good, a Captain in the U.S. Army Air Corps. They raised seven children in Buffalo and retired to Sarasota in 1990. They celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary last June with all the family. Helen will long be remembered as a wonderful wife and mother, a caring volunteer for Hospice and for her wonderful sense of humor. She was a Eucharistic minister and member of St. Patrick's parish. She was preceded in death by her daughter Marcia (Paul) Bleeker and is survived by her husband and six children: Diane (Pete) Waggoner, Sue (Joe) Mistrett, William J., Mary Anne (Mark) Coughlin, Amy (late Dick) Bergman, and Sara along with nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, her sister Joyce (late James) Sinnott and in-laws Jane (Good) Curtin and the Hon. John T. Curtin. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at St. Patrick's RC Church. The Good family would like to extend their thanks to the Bella Vita Assisted Living Facility in Venice, FL and the staff at Manor Care for their loving care of mom during her last days.
