Workers opposed to unions shouldn’t reap benefits won
Can anyone, including Supreme Court justices, believe workers would be receiving the pay they currently get if it were not for union representation over the period of our American history? All earned remunerations have been set accordingly by levels of union wages established by working people who have paid their dues through union negotiations.
The pending Supreme Court decision should state: Employees should not be forced to pay union dues if they do not wish to belong to a union. However, those who do not pay will not receive negotiated wage and benefits increases that are won by union representation. Another way of putting this is to state, “you have to be in it to win it!
