Kiedrowski takes helm of Niagara County GOP again

Scott P. Kiedrowski is back in charge of the Niagara County Republican Committee.

Kiedrowski, who stepped down at the end of January 2015 to become chief of staff for State Sen. Robert G. Ortt, was elected unanimously Thursday night, the committee announced.

James Heuer of Wheatfield had been serving as acting chairman.

“This is humbling, particularly given the quality of leadership we saw under Jim Heuer,” Kiedrowski said in a written statement. “Under Jim’s stewardship, we returned effective Republican management to Lewiston and brought in a new Republican government in Pendleton while holding our super-majority in the County Legislature. Even though I preceded him, Jim will be a tough act to follow.”
