Four $50,000 Powerball tickets were sold in Erie and Niagara counties

Four Powerball tickets, worth $50,000 each, were sold in Erie and Niagara counties, New York Lottery officials said.

Three tickets were sold in Erie County: at the Prime Stop store at 755 E. Delavan Ave.; the NOCO Express Shop at 1555 North French Road in Getzville; and at the Tops Market at 3870 Harlem Road in Cheektowaga. The Niagara County winner was sold at the 7-Eleven store at 2620 Niagara St. in Niagara Falls.

Lottery spokesman Gardner Gurney said, “While no one hit the jackpot prize, New Yorkers are vastly richer thanks to Wednesday’s historic Powerball drawing.” Gurney said statewide two million-dollar tickets were purchased and New Yorkers won a total of more than $18.8 million in the drawing.
