Man pleads guilty to drug felony, reckless endangerment

LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man who had narcotics in his vehicle when police stopped it pleaded guilty to two felonies Thursday in Niagara County Court.

Marcus A. Owens, 28, of Mackenna Avenue, faces up to 2 1/2 years in prison for fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree reckless endangerment with a vehicle. Judge Matthew J. Murphy III scheduled sentencing for Feb. 25. Police seized $1,441 in cash from the auto after the April 7 arrest.
