A Buffalo man was accused Tuesday of being a large-volume heroin dealer.
Dellsean Hamilton, 26, is charged with distribution of heroin and faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Timothy C. Lynch said Cheektowaga police discovered bundles of heroin with Hamilton during a traffic stop in March of last year.
Prosecutors said a subsequent investigation determined that Hamilton was a significant heroin supplier in the Buffalo area who had made multiple sales to a confidential source.
Hamilton’s arrest is the result of an investigation by the Cheektowaga police, Erie County Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
